Tank411 is a service operated by Harper AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Tank411,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or purchasing a list you agree to these terms. Tank411 compiles Florida public records — septic-system inventory data from the Florida Department of Health and county tax-roll data from the Florida Department of Revenue — into county lists of homes served by septic systems, and sells those lists to septic service businesses. We are a neutral compiler of the official record, not a judge of any property or person.
What this service is — and is not
Tank411 is an information service. The data we compile comes from public records and may be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors introduced at the source. It is not legal, financial, hiring, or insurance advice, and it is not an inspection, assessment, or verdict on the condition of any property. Septic-system age is an estimate derived from the year the home was built; we make no representation that any system is failing, damaged, or in need of service. See our Data Accuracy & Sourcing statement. Tank411 is not affiliated with any government agency.
What you are buying
A purchase buys a one-time, per-county CSV file of the records described on the buy page, at the price shown there, delivered by email. Pricing and contents are stated before you pay; refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
You may not use this data for FCRA-covered decisions
Tank411 (Harper AI, Inc.) is NOT a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. You may not use this site, its data, or any list purchased from it — in whole or in part — as a factor in establishing any person’s eligibility for:
- employment, promotion, reassignment, or retention;
- renting or leasing a dwelling (tenant screening);
- credit or insurance;
- a government license or benefit; or
- any other purpose covered by the FCRA (see 15 U.S.C. § 1681b).
The lists exist so that septic service businesses can market and plan service to homes that actually have septic systems. Tank411 is not a background-check or screening product, and it may not be used, resold, marketed, or described as one. We may refuse or cancel service where we reasonably believe the data is being used for a prohibited purpose.
Acceptable use
- Use purchased lists for your own business’s marketing and operations — direct mail, canvassing, route and service planning — in compliance with all applicable laws, including postal, telemarketing, and privacy laws.
- No reselling, republishing, or redistributing a purchased list, in whole or in part, to any third party.
- No scraping, bulk extraction, or systematic harvesting of this site.
- No use of the data to harass, intimidate, defraud, or stalk any person.
- If we notify you that a record has been corrected or removed at the subject’s request, stop using that record.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The State of Florida makes no guarantees about the underlying records, and neither do we.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tank411 (Harper AI, Inc.) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on the data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Your sole remedy is to stop using the service.
Correcting or removing a record
If you are a property owner or resident and believe a record we compile is inaccurate, or you want your information excluded from our lists, use our dispute & correction process or see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We never charge anyone a fee to remove, correct, or modify a listing.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, where Harper AI, Inc. operates. We may update these terms; the effective date above signals the current version, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
